The Beach Handball exhibition in Paris is less than a month away. The “Maison du Handball” in the city of Créteil in France will host the “IHF Beach Handball Showcase” on 27, 28 and 29 July 2024.
It should be noted that beach handball was incorporated into the program of the Youth Olympic Games held in Buenos Aires 2018 where the Argentine women’s team was crowned champion and the men’s team won the bronze medal. It is not yet included as a discipline in the official calendar of the Summer Olympic Games, but there will be a three-day exhibition with the best players in the world.
There will be six teams in both genders plus the participation of the French national teams. Each team carries a different name and will be led by coaches with important achievements in their extensive careers such as Leticia Brunati (ARG), Mladen Paradzik (CRO), Khaled Hassan (QAT), Maria Karantoni (GRE), Tamas Neukum (HUN) and Alexander Novakovic (GER).
The South American representatives who will be part of the exhibition are Fiorella Corimberto, Gisella Bonomi and Nahuel Pérez Baptista from Argentina. Carolina Pires Militão, Nathalie Sena, Patricia Scheppa, Renata Santiago, Gil Pires, Bruno Carlos de Oliveira and Thiago de Oliveira Barcellos from Brazil. Santiago Rodríguez will represent Uruguay.
