IHF Women’s Junior World Championship to be played in North Macedonia

From June 19-30, the 24th edition of the IHF Women’s Junior World Championship will be played in Skopje, North Macedonia. A total of 112 matches will be played in three stadiums: the Boris Trajkovski Sports Center and the two halls of the Jane Sandanski Sports Center.

There will be 32 teams from five continents and the tournament will start simultaneously in the three stadiums. The first matches will be: Korea Republic vs Mexico at the Boris Trajkovski Sports Complex, Hungary vs Argentina at the Jane Sandanski and Switzerland vs Tunisia at the Jane Sandanski Stadium.

Argentina, Brazil and Chile are the teams representing South Central America that will be competing.

The four quarterfinals will be played from Thursday, June 27, the semifinals are scheduled for Friday, June 28, while the qualifying matches, the bronze medal match and the final will be played on the last days at the Boris Trajkovski Sports Center.
