Sedalo defeated Jockey in the SCA Handball. In the second day of the Club Championship Sedalo knew how to score and block the rival to win 33-19.
First half
The match started erratically for Sedalo and an outstanding performance in the first minutes by the goalkeeper of the Cordoba team, Veronica Guerrico.
Jockey Club managed to maintain a 2 goal difference up to 15 minutes, but the saves of Candelaria Cuadrado de Sedalo allowed the game to be more even. With 8 minutes left in the first half, the Buenos Aires team managed to go up in the scoreboard and closed the partial 14-10.
Second half
During the second half, Sedalo deployed all its offensive power and in this way managed to stretch the difference even further.
Jockey’s attacking failures allowed the rival to counterattack and score to win 33-19. Sedalo’s goalkeeper, Candelaria Cuadrado, was named MVP of the match.

“The game was good, at the beginning it cost us a little bit because it was the first game, the new court, the girls I think they played very well.
In the second half we were more loose, we had less losses, less mistakes on goal. We never lowered our intensity and that’s why we made such a big difference.
Verónica Guerrico player of Jockey Club Córdoba:
“We started very well in the first half, both in defense and offense. Our priority was always defense, with outlets so that they don’t break us with outside shots.
In the last 10 minutes of the second half, we lacked speed, head and precision. That worked against us, but we went out knowing what we have to correct.
