Second victory for Pinheiros in the SCA of Clubs. The Brazilian team beat Met de Chile 37-24 on day two of the competition in Taubaté.
First half
Lucas Oyarzo opened the scoring for MET, but the Brazilian response was not long in coming. Goal by goal, the first twenty minutes of the game continued.
However, towards the end of the first half, Alex Archivaldo’s team began to find spaces in the Chilean defense and managed to establish a slight difference. The teams went to the break 16-21 in favor of Pinheiros.
Complement
In the final 30 minutes, Pinheiros imposed its game and increased its dominance on the field. With an effective offensive strategy, they continued to dismantle the Chilean defense and extended their lead on the scoreboard.
The team coached by Pablo Vicencio was not able to face the precision of the Brazilians and ended up losing 24-37.
The MVP of the game was Philipp Seifert of Pinheiros.

Post-match statements:
Philipp Seifert, Pinheiros player:
“It was a good game for the team, we studied MET a lot and I think we managed to reflect what we work on every day.”
Javier Ahumada, MET player:
“We had a good first half, we started well in defense and with good attacking ideas, and already in the second half Pinheiros got away from us. They had a tough defense, they defend very well”.
