Second victory for Pinheiros in the SCA Men’s Club Handball Championship

The Brazilian team won against MET de Chile in an even match. With an even first half, MET could not hold the scoreboard and ended up falling 24-37 in the second day of competition of the SCA Club Handball Tournament.

Lucas Oyarzo opened the scoring for MET, but the Brazilian response was not long in coming. Goal by goal the first twenty minutes of the game continued, where counter-attacks and quick starts were the plays that took center stage. However, towards the end of the first half, Alex Archivaldo’s team began to find spaces in the Chilean defense and managed to establish a slight difference before the end of the first half. The teams went to the break 16-21 in favor of Pinheiros.

In the final 30 minutes, Pinheiros imposed its game and increased its dominance on the field. With an effective offensive strategy, they continued to dismantle the Chilean defense and extended their lead on the scoreboard. The team coached by Pablo Vicencio was not able to face the precision of the Brazilians and ended up losing 24-37.
