From May 21 to 25, the South and Central American Senior Women’s Club Handball Championship will be played in the city of San José in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
In the women’s Club competition, the following will be present from Argentina: SEDALO, River Plate, Ferro Carril Oeste and Jockey Club Córdoba; Nacional and Pinheiros (current champion) will compete for Brazil, the representative of Chile will be Ovalle; while Scuola Italiana and Goes will be the representatives of Uruguay.
It should be remembered that Esporte Clube Pinheiros was the 2023 Champion and will seek to retain the title to become three-time champion of the category. River Plate of Buenos Aires fell in the final with Pinheiros and in third place on the podium was Portugues after beating Nacional.
