San José hosts the SCA Senior Women’s Club Handball. From May 21 to 25 the Handball Libertadores will be played in Brazil.
The teams
Teams from Argentina will be present in the women’s club competition: SEDALO, River Plate, Ferro Carril Oeste and Jockey Club Córdoba.
Teams from Brazil will also participate: Nacional and Pinheiros (current champion). Chile will be represented by Ovalle, while Scuola Italiana and Goes will be the teams from Uruguay.
Pinheiros and the title
It should be remembered that Esporte Clube Pinheiros was the 2023 Champion and will seek to retain the title to become three-time champion of the category.
River Plate of Buenos Aires lost in the final to Pinheiros and in third place on the podium was Portugues after beating Nacional, both from Brazil.

This Friday, May 10, starting at 3:50 p.m. (Chile time), the draw will be held where the groups and matches will be formed.
