Victory for Brazil at the Beach HSCA Asunción 2024. In the third match of the first day, in the men’s division, the locals lost to the current champion: Brazil.
The match ended with a resounding Brazilian victory by 2 sets to 0, with a score of 24:12 and 14:4. The championship will be played from April 10 to 13, and in addition to the title, it also provides places for the next World Championship to be held in China in June this year.
First Set
A solid Brazil imposed itself from the start with a fast pace of play against the locals who could not break through the great Brazilian defense, ending the first set 24:12.
Second set
In the second set, the Guarani team improved their defense and with great performances from their goalkeeper Ever Paris, Brazil did not extend their advantage on the scoreboard. However, the offensive facet of the Brazilians was superior ending the second set 14:4. A strong start for the green and yellow team, which seeks to defend its championship title.

In addition to Brazil’s victory, during the morning session Uruguay defeated Chile 2-0 and Argentina defeated Peru by 2 sets to 0 in the men’s division.
