The Kamikazes qualified for the World Cup, this Thursday afternoon Argentina beat Uruguay 2-0 in the 3rd edition of the Beach HSCA played in Asuncion.
Gisella Bonomi (ARG) and María García (URU) scored 14 goals in the match. Second consecutive victory for Argentina by 2-0 with a score of 25:16 and 14:12.
First set
The start of the first set was even goal for goal, but as the minutes went by Argentina managed to impose their game and open a bigger difference in the score. In addition, goalkeeper Florencia Bericio made key saves to sustain the result.
Second set
In the second set there were many ups and downs for both teams. The Argentines started with a 10:2 lead and it seemed that they were going to take the set comfortably. The goalkeepers of both teams had a very good second set closing their respective goals. Florencia Bericio covered everything at the end of the match and gave the victory to the Albiceleste team that also won the ticket to the World Championship in China.

“We came from playing a very important match against Uruguay, we came to play with everything, we had a lot at stake. We managed to win it 2-0 and thus qualify for the World Cup, which is our first goal in this tournament”.
