The IHF Trophy South Junior and Youth Men’s Tournament, which was held in the city of Palmira, Colombia, ended. The event was played in the White Pavilion at the Ciudadela Deportiva and was a qualifier for the IHF Trophy Continental Phase of South and Central America.
Venezuela won the title in the Junior category, after tying with the locals 25-25 in regulation time, in overtime the Venezuelans sealed the victory 33-31.
