Paraguay participated for the first time in a pre-Olympic tournament

The Paraguayan adult women’s team participated for the first time in a pre-Olympic, it was in Neu Ulm, Germany. The tournament that granted two places to the next Olympic Games went to Germany and Slovenia.

During the three games, the Paraguayan team showed a high level, in the first game they lost 25-30 against Montenegro and the MVP player, Fernanda Insfran of Paraguay, was highlighted.

In the second game, the Guarani suffered a heavy 32-14 defeat against Slovenia and then closed the pre-Olympic against the locals and fell 37-20.

The teams that qualified for Paris 2024 in the pre-Olympic are: Hungary, Sweden, Netherlands, Spain, Germany and Slovenia. They were already classified: France, Denmark, Angola, Republic of Korea, Brazil and Norway.
