Referee representation at the pre-Olympics. During the month of March and April, the pre-Olympic tournaments were held to award the last available places for the next Olympic Games Paris 2024.
South American presence
The refereeing duo of Sebastián Lenci and Julián López Grillo from Argentina, officiated at the competition held in Hannover, Germany, which featured Algeria, Austria, Germany and Croatia.
In the men’s division, the three championships were held from March 14 to 17:
Tournament 1: Granollers, Spain. Tournament 2: Hannover, Germany and Tournament 3: Tatabánya, Hungary.

Argentines and Uruguayans
The refereeing duo of Mariana García and Maria Inés Paolantoni from Argentina were present at the women’s pre-Olympic tournament held in Debrecen, Hungary.
Hungary, Japan, Great Britain and Sweden were the main protagonists in the competition.
Cristian Lemes and Mathias Sosa from Uruguay were also the other refereeing duo that were painting in the women’s pre-Olympic in the city of Debrecen, Hungary.

The three women’s tournaments were played from April 11-14:
Tournament 1: Debrecen, Hungary, Tournament 2: Torrevieja, Spain and Tournament 3: Neu Ulm, Germany.

Argentine delegate
COSCABAL’s chief referee, Teodoro Adjemian, was part of the team and was the technical delegate in Hungary for the men and in Germany for the women.
