In a thrilling match, Brazil beat Los Gladiadores by only two goals in a packed house, the Casa del Handball sold out tickets for the last day of competition.
Results
In the first round, Paraguay had beaten Costa Rica 35-29, then Chile beat Uruguay 29-18 and secured its ticket to the World Cup. In the last match of the competition, the protagonists Brazil vs Argentina, met again in the 40×20 after the match played in the final of the Pan American Games Santiago 2023. The team coached by Guillermo Milano won the gold medal and their ticket to Paris 2024.

This time, in the South American classic, the Argentines could not celebrate with their fans. The victory went to Brazil, led by Marcus Tata Oliveira. The team came out ready to play a fast game. In the first half, Brazil made some mistakes in defense and lost the ball, which were key for Argentina to score a goal.
