IHF Trophy / HSCA Youth Championship Buenos Aires 2023 from 21 to 25 November in the home of handball with the participation of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Uruguay and Venezuela.
The competition awards three berths to the 2024 World Cup in China.
Group A: Brazil, Chile, Guatemala, Colombia
Group B: Argentina, Uruguay, Venezuela, Nicaragua.
The action began in Parque Roca, the first teams to take the field were Chile and Colombia.
The Chileans won their first victory 36-15 against the Colombians and will face Guatemala on Wednesday. Uruguay defeated Nicaragua 44-07.
In the second round, the current champion, Brazil, defeated Guatemala by 42-13. And at the end, with the support of the local crowd, Argentina beat Venezuela by 38-12.

“At the beginning it was hard for us, we were uncomfortable with the attack and the one-on-one defense. However, we were able to overcome it, we made a big difference at the end, that way we were able to get loose and that allowed us to get ahead all together”.
