Brazil defeated Argentina 26-23 at La Casa del Handball in the city of Buenos Aires and became two-time champion in the 2nd edition of the SCA Youth Women’s Handball competition.
Chile, after winning the bronze medal, qualified along with Brazil and Argentina for the World Cup event to be held in China next year.
At the close of the Tournament, in the definition for 7th place, Venezuela beat Nicaragua without complications 36-16. Guatemala achieved an important 24-18 victory against Colombia, obtaining the Intercontinental IHF Trophy phase.

Chile won third place in the 2024 World Cup, beating Uruguay 23-22 by a narrow margin and in the last match of the day, the South American classic went to the Brazilians who beat Argentina 26-23.
In the second half, Brazil managed to improve some defensive errors and the goalkeepers of both teams were in charge of preventing a greater score on the scoreboard. Brazil took the title for the second consecutive year.

Kira Peixoto, player from Argentina: “We just finished playing the final match with Brazil, a very tough match, we didn’t have it but we played a match, there are things to correct and improve. We have an incredible team that always raises its head, we have a coaching staff that supports us on and off the field. “Brazil we knew was a tough team”.
Anais Larenas, player from Chile: “We just won third place in the tournament, there are many emotions that we feel as a team, we knew it was a difficult match, but we gave everything until the end. Winning a place in the World Cup was our goal and we gave everything to get there”.
