During this morning, the South and Central American Handball Confederation informed the National Federations the realization of two new tournaments: the Handball SCA Clubs Men and Women Youth (U18) 2023 and the Handball SCA Clubs Men and Women Junior (U21) 2023.
These two tournaments, which are unprecedented for these categories, seek to promote international competition among the region’s youth in order to promote the development of handball in the adult categories.
In the case of the Juniors, the tournament will be held in the cities of Itajaí and Balneario Camboriú, Brazil, from August 29 to September 2.
For the Juniors, the city of San José, in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, will host the tournament from September 5 to 9, which seeks to crown the best team of the continent.
Both tournaments will have a maximum of 8 teams per division competing.
