Argentina and Brazil qualified for the World Cup

After four dates played, “La Garra” and “Las Leonas” remain undefeated and will define the title of the South-Central Senior Women’s tournament this Saturday starting at 8:00 p.m. in Buenos Aires.

Earlier in the day, Brazil needed 15 minutes to prevail against Paraguay with authority and mark an early difference of 10 goals. An advantage that increased and ended with the score of 47 to 20.

With this victory, those coached by Cristiano Rocha have not lost in any of their three matches and they will seek to continue in this way against the locals in a new edition of the South American classic at the close of the competition.

In the second round, Argentina and Chile faced each other with the motivation that the winning team would qualify for the World Cup.

“La Garra” controlled the game with quick transitions and a solid defense that allowed him to take the lead by 8 points in the add-on and close the final result at 26-18.
