Between January 25 and 29, 2022, Brazil will host the second edition of the South and Central American Handball Tournament, a tournament that grants four places for the IHF World Cup Sweden – Poland 2023.
In this qualifying event, Paraguay will seek to get into the top four of the championship to mark a milestone in the history of men’s handball, since the country has never been a participant in the most important event on the planet.
During the last edition of the qualifying tournament, which took place in Maringá, Brazil, the Paraguayan team was in 5th place in the table, saying goodbye to the possibility of attending the World Cup.
This year, the team that stands out for having a generation of replacement, dreams of being installed at the top of the table and without a doubt they will leave everything on the field to achieve it.
