Marcus “Tatá” Oliveira, DT of Brazil: “Brazil is a team that is always ready to play for titles, whether at home or elsewhere”

During this day, the second chapter of “+Handball, the handball program of America” was broadcast, hosted by Hernán De Lorenzi and which had as guests the technicians from Chile, Mateo Garralda; Costa Rica, Alejandra Alvarez; and Brazil, Marcus Tatá Oliveira.

The Verdeamarelho team is one of the great candidates for the title of the next South and Central American Handball Tournament Recife 2022, in which they will play with the pressure of being local. In any case, Tatá ruled out that this could work against him, since “Brazil is a team that is always ready to play finals and titles, whether at home or elsewhere”.

On the other hand, the coach of Brazil was satisfied and happy with the result of the draw after being the leader of group B of the championship, which also includes Paraguay, Costa Rica and Chile. “We chose the duel with Chile because we know that it is a stronger game, that it prepares us in a better way for the final”, declared Tatá.

Thus, Brazil will seek to be in the final again and obtain revenge for Maringá 2020, where the Cariocas lost by a goal against Argentina in the last seconds of the match. In addition, the Brazilians hope to get into the World Cup qualification to improve the ranking of Egypt 2021.

The tournament, which will be played between January 25 and 29 in Recife, will receive seven teams from the continent, who will leave everything to become the best in America.
