Opening the fourth day of Recife 2022, Bolivia faced Costa Rica in a match that defined seventh place in the most important tournament on the continent.
Throughout the match, Costa Rica was vastly superior, maintaining a 10-goal difference on the scoreboard. Thus, the first half of the match ended with 8 goals to 22.
In the second half, Bolivia did not manage to reverse the score, but they did exhibit their determination and spirit of improvement.
