On the last day of Recife 2022, Brazil and Argentina faced each other in a heartbreaking finale. The two great powers of America put on a show of quality, technique and speed in the fight for the tournament title.
During the first half of the game, both teams took the field and showed why they are the best on the continent. The match had a very high intensity of play and the scoring superiority of each team did not last more than one attack.
The effectiveness of the residents and the coverage of the Argentine goalkeeper Leonel Maciel were the keys to the score remaining at the end of the first half. Thus, the score was 10-10.
From the second half onwards the players arrived with the same power. Strong defenses, yellow cards, expulsions after 2 minutes, quick attacks and powerful shots marked this second half of the match.
Minutes before the end, Brazil managed to comprehensively beat the Argentines thanks to the notable performance of their goalkeeper, Rangel Da Rosa, and the team’s collective play.
Finally, the match ended with 17 goals to 20 in favor of Brazil and the team led by “Tatá” Oliveira was established as the new champion of America.

For its part, Argentina did a remarkable job, but could not revalidate its Maringá 2020 title, so the Albiceleste took 2nd place in the competition.
With Brazil’s victory, Recife 2022 closes a successful tournament at the Ginásio Geraldo Magalhães.
