A few days before the start of the senior women’s qualifying championship for the IHF World Cup in Spain 2021, CoSCABal launches its Handball SCA brand that will cover all official championships in South and Central America. This launch is materialized in its alliance with FANATIZ, the fastest growing sports content platform with a global presence.
In order to promote handball on our continent, the South and Central American Handball Confederation has decided to establish minimum technological conditions that allow the fan to enjoy a true party, especially considering the restrictions that are currently being experienced as a consequence of the pandemic due to COVID-19 and for this it has entered into an alliance with FANATIZ.
Through FANATIZ today the contents of the AFA and CBF tournaments are transmitted, which are broadcast by the AFA Play and Brasileira Play channels, among other consolidated sports leagues with a great presence in the media.
FANATIZ also has a very strong commitment to other emerging sports and handball is one of them. For this reason, they propose the emergence of HANDBALLSCA PLAY, with its own plans and sites for championships, leagues and own content productions.
The challenge for our Confederation is not minor, since it requires raising broadcast standards to offer an attractive product to the viewer and project our sport and the activity of CoSCABal. For this purpose, it was decided to start with the broadcast of HANDBALL SC AMERICA PARAGUAY 2021 with a production that will have 4 cameras, replay, stories and that will be available for television stations or cable broadcasters that acquire the signal for their countries.

And it will not only be content related to the championships, since in the coming days the documentary miniseries #Our History will be launched, which will show the women who have left a mark in the development, growth and internationalization of handball in America.
