Nilson and Rogerio Finish IHF Referee´s Career

Today, August 6, 2020, Nilson Menezes and Rogerio Pinto have been officially notified by the IHF of the end of their international arbitration career due to compliance with the regulatory age limit currently in force.

2 Olympic Games, 5 absolute Men’s World Cups, 1 absolute Women’s World Cup, 1 Super Globe, absolute Pan American Games since 2004 and many other world, continental and national events that even led them to be invited to refereering in leagues outside of Brazil, are part of the experience of this esteemed pair of referees.

However, none of their achievements overshadowed their humility and vocation for work through which they not only achieved professional success, but also cultivated human relationships, earning the friendship and respect of those who have known them.

With the expectation that his experience and talent can be help into the training of the new arbitration generations, both in Brazil and the continent, on behalf of COSCABAL Marcel Mancilla, its President and Thedy Adjemian leader of the Refereeing and Game Rules Commission , celebrate their trajectory and wish the greatest successes in this new stage that is opening to them.
