Brazil closed its participation in the 24th World Women’s Handball Championship in Kumamoto, Japan with a 22-18 victory over Senegal taking 17th place and improving its position in the last tournament in 2017 (18th).
The Brazilian team won the last three games in the competition. Having placed fifth in the group stage, he played from 17th to 20th place.

The World Cup in Kumamoto, Japan was played as follows: main round composed of 24 teams divided into four groups of six for the qualifying phase. The teams that do not qualify play the President’s Cup, which establishes the positions from 13th.
